2. Chronicle Points - Old

Chronicle Points can only be earned at the end of a character, whether it be death or long road home. Each player gets one chronicle point for each xp point on their old character sheet, as well as each xp spent on a ghoul or other retainer with a sheet. (Note: "Free" dots on a retainer sheet do not count up as XP, however, free dots on your main sheet, do. Example, the 1 free dot in a discipline given to a ghoul at creation does not count towards your Chronicle points, however the 3 free dots on your vampire character sheet will count as 9-12 depending on how they were spent.) Chronicle points can only be spent at character creation. See Chronicle Points under Character Creation for cost and purchasable list.

When you pick 3 free disciplines, you will not get chronicle points for those 3 dots. However, the 35 XP for starting a new character, would count as Chronicle Points.) 17. SUICIDE

If it is determined by the ST team that you are Suiciding your character, for the purpose of gathering the chronicle points from the "free" starting sheet (aka 35-ish freebie points), then you will lose the ability to gain additional chronicle points until you have spent them all, and died twice. Aka. when we believe this is happening, at ST Discretion we will tell you that you should spend all of your chronicle points, because if you don't they're going down to 0 anyway. And you will also not gain chronicle points on the death of that character.

Originally - Clans: Limited to Ventrue, Toreador, Nosferatu, Malkavian, Tremere, Brujah, Gangrel, Caitiff (in-clans Celerity, Fortitude, Potence) ... Other clans may be purchased with chronicle points if you have access to them

Please try to refrain from rolling another Ventrue. While this isn't actually against our rules and is not regulated strictly, it is very frowned upon by the ST staff.)
ADDED – (House Rules - > Merits/Flaws
Jack of All Trades Explained - In Nights Reborn, this merit is available to Camarilla members only. This trait gives the player, the ability to retest "jack of all trades" instead of retesting an ability that they do not already own an applicable retest for the given situation. Each individual trait may be used once per story with jack of all trades. As soon as the player purchases even 1 dot in an ability, jack of all trades will no longer work on that ability. Ex. If I have no Dodge on my sheet, and I was quick enough to dodge, I may retest Jack of all Trades once per night. (Specific notes: Lores, knowledges, and other information gathering abilities are subject to one use between all of them, you do not get one Lore Cam, Lore Sabbat, etc. you just get one Lore.)
